Avalon Hideaway Electric Fireplace to be

We expect to begin shipping the Hideaway Electric (21 E) Fireplace
soon! We have been eagerly anticipating this new unit with its many
features. We are the exclusive suppliers of an electric fireplace of
this size, and we know many of your customers will find the Hideaway
Electric is perfect to meet their needs. With the new Hideaway
Electric and the existing Seattle Electric, you are able to offer
your customers a choice of easy to install, plug and play appliances
and stylish accessories.
The Hideaway Electric fireplace is sized to fit 21 DV cabinets, or
it can be installed with standard stud framing and facing.
Drywall, tile or stone can all be accommodated. We include a black
painted trim strip to cover the drywall or facing edge under the
fireplace. For built-in installations, replace the standard 115 V AC
power cord and plug with hard wiring on a breaker protected circuit.
The standard fireplace has a black painted interior, and an optional
herringbone liner is also available.nControl the following standard
features with the included remote: flame on/off, variable interior
lighting, adjustable flame speed, 1500 watt heater with blower,
thermostat, sleep timer and child-proof lockout. The Hideaway
Electric heater and blower will add comfortable warmth to an area up
to 400 sq. ft.
The really intriguing feature of the Hideaway Electric is the
standard audio system that is ready to connect with your iPod,
iPhone, mp3 player or streaming audio. Do you know of any other
fireplace that plays music or other audio programs? The two built-in
speakers, a 24 watt amplifier with high-fidelity playback and a mini-
jack auxiliary connection cable are ready to plug and play. We even
include a retractable charging cable to connect an iPod. Of course
the standard Hideaway 21 remote also operates the audio system with
on/off and volume control. We include suggestions for connecting
your Hideaway 21 to a computer for streaming audio with a wireless

NEW - SEATTLE DIAMOND-FYRE FIREPLACE
The Seattle Diamond-Fyre SEATTLE Fireplace features the same great
size, framing, Btu's, face options, turn-down ratios, and lighted
control panel as the Seattle SS GS gas fireplace. But this new
fireplace features beautiful under lighting, which shines through
the glass base for a gorgeous contemporary flair. The glass floor is
required and you have the option of Cobalt Blue, Reflective Bronze
or Platinum glass. An interior fireback is also required and to
customize their fireplace your customer has the option of two;
painted black, or black enamel. The comfort control turns off the
two side burners when less heat is desired, leaving a center flame
to heat and dazzle its audience. The fireplace does accept all
Seattle SS faces, but really shines with the new Rosario face and
the new optional Nickel Glass Trim.

the small gas insert, the 31 DVI and the large 33 DVI. These inserts
represents a new direction in gas heating that offers you a top-
quality gas fireplace insert at a value price. The 31 DVI and 33 DVI
inserts are all about basics: a big, beautiful, brightly glowing
fire and a simplified operating system, yet offering the same glass
viewing area as the top-of-the line DVS GSR & DVL GSR gas inserts.
The DVI series of inserts features the Dancing-Fyre™ split-flow,
steel pan burner with a big, beautiful logset and wood-like fire
display.
Both DVI Inserts feature huge turn-down-rates so you can enjoy them
year-round:

New Rosario Faces for Seattle and Winthrop Fireplaces

Borrowing from the DVS & DVL Insert Rosario faces, we translated
that ever-popular design into faces for the Seattle and Winthrop
fireplaces. The Seattle Rosario face is pictured above with the
optional “Common Brick” fireback. Available in elegant basic black,
the Rosario fireplace faces feature horizontal louvers above and
below the generous sized viewing glass. The crisp angled
intersections of the grill with the strong vertical side columns add
subtle interest without distracting from the delightful view of the
flames. The conservative styling makes these faces uniquely
versatile, at home with contemporary décor as well as with more
traditional styles.
New Brushed Aluminum Doors Now Available For Avalon Wood Stoves & Inserts
We are now offering a new polished aluminum door as an option to the
standard black Avalon wood stove door. The brushed finish is a
warm, silvery gray color that blends well in a wide variety of
decorating schemes. This new door option is available for the
Pendleton, Rainier or Olympic stoves and inserts.
We have also changing the ash lip and accent trim on all Avalon Wood
stoves from brass to black.

Avalon Seattle Space Saver IPI Gas Fireplace
The Seattle™ SS (Space Saver) IPI is Avalon's newest gas fireplace.
With the combination of convective heat, radiant heat and reduced
depth dimension the unit is ideal for zone heating in bedrooms, dens
and intimate spaces. The fireplace features 564 square inches of
high quality, high clarity, tempered glass with a removable safety
screen.
The realistic "wood like" flame, along with the heat output can be
controlled by the convenient Comfort Control gas valve. The Comfort
Control feature allows you to turn off part of the burner with the
push of the button to really turn down the heat while maintaining
the fire and glowing embers. This allows you to comfortably be able
to use your fireplace year around. And now the Seattle SS IPI come
standard with the very popular accent light for an added glow when
the fireplace is on or off really showcasing the fireplace in every
setting.
The new Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IPI) allows you to run your
fireplace in either standing pilot mode - where the pilot flame
stays on which is ideal in really cold climates where it is
important to maintain a draft for proper operation, or in the
electronic ignition mode (IPI), where your pilot flame goes out when
you turn off your fireplace saving you precious fuel and money.
This makes the Seattle SS IPI the most "Green" fireplace you can
own.
The Seattle SS IPI gas fireplace allows you the option of adding the
revolutionary "GreenSmart" modulating remote control.
This "ultimate" hands free control gives you the ability to control
virtually every function of the fireplace from the comfort of your
couch. You control the flame and heat output manually, run the
fireplace on thermostat mode or set your fireplace to the"Smart"
mode. The "Smart" mode automatically modulates the fire and heat
up and down to maintain the beauty of the fire and room
temperature. Most fireplaces only have the ability to turn the
flame on and off trying to maintain the room temperature with
the "Smart" mode your room will stay at a more constant temperature

2009 Tax Credit Information - Important Details
Signed into law on October 3, 2008, a $1,500 consumer tax credit for
the purchase of a 75% efficient biomass stove in 2009 was included
in the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. The Hearth,
Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) and the Pellet Fuels Institute
(PFI), succeeded in including the tax credit to help consumers fight
rising home heating costs.
